The purpose of the RightChoice CNA course is to prepare students to be successful on the Kentucky State Exam to be aState Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA but known as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in other states). As the over-65 age group continues to grow in size, there will be a greater demand for health care services at all levels. Our goal is to empower students to be successful CNAs so that they can be strategically positioned to advance their career into nursing if they choose.
The CNA Training Course will cover all topics found in Mosby's Textbook for Long-Term Care Nursing Assistants (6th ed.) by Sheila Sorrentino. The table of contents well describes the scope of our CNA class. This program has a MINIMUM of 75 clock hours, which includes a minimum of 16 hours are spent in clinical practice at a nursing facility in the Louisville or Southern Indiana area.
